How to join
The Consortium is committed to protecting and promoting the world’s most famous Tuscan biscuit, and we hope to connect with Tuscan confectionery companies, both industrial and artisanal, that produce Cantucci Toscani in the Region and are interested in protecting and promoting their quality.
Producers of Cantuccini Toscani PGI authorized by the Control Body, holding the ATECO (2007) 10.72 code, and committing to complying with the Consortium’s Bylaws, Regulations, and resolutions, may join the Consortium.
The main benefits:
1. Legal Protection of the PGI Product
The Consortium protects the designation from imitations, misuse, and counterfeiting, both in Italy and abroad. This helps protect the brand’s value and the product’s reputation.
2. Promotion
The Consortium organizes marketing activities, trade fairs, events, and collective communication campaigns. The PGI product gains visibility and recognition.
3. Value of Certification
The Consortium helps maintain high and uniform production standards, ensuring compliance with the Product Specifications. This strengthens consumer trust.
4. Technical and Regulatory Support
The Consortium provides assistance with technical, regulatory, and bureaucratic aspects (inspections, certifications, and legal updates), reducing time and costs for individual companies.
5. Protection of the Territory and Local Identity
The Consortium promotes the link between the product and its territory, strengthening the cultural and economic identity of the production area.
