On September 8th, 2023, 21 bakery enterprises in Tuscany with PGI certification decided to disband the Association and established the Consortium that retains the same name, Assocantuccini. The newly appointed Board of Directors, led by President Daniele Scapigliati, is determined to enhance the PGI, secure public funding, and augment regulatory authority.
